You have heard of South by Southwest, an awesome annual Austin festival that highlights the coolest conversations online and in design, music and film. Krrb wants to be part of it in 2014 and we need your help. All we need is your thumbs up.

We are proposing a panel discussion that features startups Krrb and 3 Taps, both of whom have faced threats from content-giant Craigslist. If you believe you own your own content, vote to make conversation a part of SXSW.

Also invited to be a part of the Krrb panel are guests Robin Chase, founder/CEO of peer-to-peer car sharing service Buzzcar and co-founder/former CEO of Zipcar along with Harvard Law School Internet law professor, Jonathan L. Zittrain. And we even invited Craigslist founder Craig Newmark himself.

The Background

Multiple startups (including us, Krrb) have faced threat of legal action from Craigslist for allowing users to repost their own content on other websites. We want to have an open dialog about that and the future of user-generated content.

Have we peaked your interest? Are you curious about the ownership of your user-generated content? Please help us out by voting for our panel at SXSW Interactive 2014 to be held March 7 – 11, 2014.
