As part of the series called The Hot Corner, we’ll be featuring Krrb corners that catch our eye with their well-curated inventory. Whether it’s upcycled, secondhand, vintage or handmade, be sure to see for yourself why we think these Krrbsters have it going on.
Marge Tadeja is one busy lady. The mother of three keeps her Krrb corner up to date with upcycled paper goods while also finishing a book on recycling. On top of everything, she’s currently up in arms against her local municipal dump in her Philippines city for violations of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act 2000. We’re baffled as to how Marge has time to make such beautiful paper crafts while battling bureaucrats. It’s is why she has is this week’s Hot Corner.
Recycling is not only a part of Marge’s business plan, it is also a part of her family. Marge was taught to find new uses for products by the grandmother who cared for her and her uncle was a popular organic fertilizer producer before it was trendy. For Marge, using environmentally conscious methods now is vital to paying it forward to future generations. It is why she is so passionate about fighting the poisoned groundwater in her city.
Aspiring recyclers can watch Marge’s Hot Corner for creative uses of upcycled paper. You can always check back here for more information about her upcoming book.
