As part of the series called The Hot Corner, we’ll be featuring Krrb corners that catch our eye with their well-curated inventory. Whether it’s upcycled, secondhand, vintage or handmade, be sure to see for yourself why we think these Krrbsters have it going on.
Alisha Miranda keeps her ear to the ground. This self-claimed Brooklyn connector organized her first Bedford Stuyvesant crawl, #BedStuyCrawl in February. The social media consultant saw Bed-Stuy as an overlooked neighborhood with lots of opportunities to learn and enjoy. The local event, complete with giveaways, sponsors and drink specials, was so successful that Alisha is giving it a second go this Saturday. We’re inspired by Alisha’s neighborly love so much so that she’s got this week’s Hot Corner in the bag.
The neighborhood bordering Williamsburg and Clinton Hill has different pockets to explore, says Alisha. #BedStuyCrawl will focus on the area around Bedford Avenue and Franklin Avenue with stops at SUD, Bedford Hill Cafe, and One Last Shag. Staying true to Alisha’s nature, the more social media you use during the crawl, the more raffle prizes you’re likely to win.
