Krrb is a great place to find everything and anything secondhand, handmade and vintage. We can only imagine how these finds ended up on the classifieds in the first place. Whether or not you were looking for these unusual listings, The 5 Strangest Listings on Krrb This Week are for sale, each in need of a new home.
This week there’s a desk that you can exercise on, a monkey that makes tea, and a fireplace made out of cardboard! Let’s do this!
African Wood Carving in Glenview, IL
Here’s a nice little piece of art! Not a lot of details on this wood carving but it’s apparently from Africa, made of wood, and costs a whole lot of money. Made around the 1950’s, this piece can really bring the room together. Throw some big plants next to it and you’ll feel like you’re on an exotic adventure! $2,500
Exercise Bike Desk in Lakewood, OH
Gang, check out this Exercise Bike Desk! You know how the best part of going to work every day is that you just get to sit there and not move your body at all? Well, how about if you stop doing that and pedal on a bike while you work? Get that brain and that body working at the same speed. Haha, I’m just kidding gang, who wants to exercise? Apparently the seller feels the same way because this badboy was only used for a month. $250
A. Minton Majolica Monkey Teapot in Los Angeles, CA
The more of these I write the more I realize that people really like things with animals on them and it weirds me out. This is an English vintage teapot and it has a monkey on it. Why? I have no idea. How are monkeys related to tea? No clue. Either way, his tail is the handle so… I guess it’s a pretty cool teapot after all! $295
Vintage Toymaster Full Size Cardboard Fireplace in Barrington, IL
What a wonderful time of year to purchase this Vintage Cardboard Fireplace! I can’t understand why they would stop producing a children’s toy that is made out of cardboard and has fire in the title. It makes zero sense! Anyway, maybe buy this for your kid if he’s smart enough to not actually start a fire in it. $150
Purina Health Aids Vintage Sign in West Town, IL
Last but certainly not least, this rusty, old sign! You know Purina Puppy Chow? Well, in the 50’s they use to call them Health Aids and they had this advertisement for it. It has some rusty characteristics now but I bet with a little bit of tender love, and care you could make it a beautiful piece of work again! $350
