We introduce a new series called Pioneers where we’ll be featuring Krrb corners that open up in new cities and towns. We visit the corners of these pioneers who break unexplored territory and find out what they have to sell, trade or giveaway.
The news about Krrb is spreading like wildfire. Don Campanella learned about the hyperlocal/mega-global marketplace from his Brooklyn-based cousin. Although no one else in Twin Falls, Idaho was using Krrb (at least not yet!) he signed up to get rid of a few items. It’s not really about making money for Don’s Discards Krrb corner. Don frequents thrift stores and yard sales on the hunt for vinyl. He is simply trying to clean out the collection he’s amassed over the years. See for yourself what this pioneer has available on his corner.
Back in college at the University of Texas, Don had a radio show on the student station, KVRX. He would spend hours combing through records at thrift stores to find unique music for his show. The records Don lists on Krrb are ones he found interesting but doesn’t have room for in his collection.
Visit Don’s Discards Krrb corner for a trip down memory lane. He’s willing to trade vinyl and even ships if you’re not able to pick up in person. Help us grow the Twin Falls area so that Don can exchange vinyl with his neighbors in the near future.
