PAPER Magazine’s annual Super(Duper)Market is back! This three-day pop-up festival which opens on August 2nd, features delicious handmade foods from local purveyors across the country. Imagine if you will, a grocery store filled with nothing but the best artisanal munchies the good ol’ USA has to offer.
The event celebrates more than 35 merchants across the states who use locally sourced ingredients. Vendors this year include the best of the East and West Coasts, plus all the goodness in between.
New York City’s is represented by the likes of The Jam Stand, Momofuku Milk Bar and Sour Puss Pickles. A 4,000-square-foot space hosts vendors from most major cities including Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Portland. For a full list of vendors click here.
For foodies who want to try their hand at making their own locally-sourced treats, Target will have a booth featuring recipe cards for an eclectic mix of dishes including Mango Curry Shrimp Pizza and Spiced Mexican Brownies. Fellow sponsor American Express has also organized a TwEAT Dinner to honor foodies, fans and friends on August 2. Follow @AmericanExpress on Twitter to catch the chance for a seat at the supper table on July 30.
