I haven’t walked down the aisle yet myself, but I can only imagine the headache inducing stress of planning that special day. Everybody wants their wedding to be perfect, so it only makes sense that couples all around the world are busy scoping out the perfect location, perfect band, flowers, cakes etc to make their matrimony a memorable one! If you’re like me, i.e. not gifted with the skill of event planning yet yearning to be easy breezy like J.Lo in The Wedding Planner, then hopefully these local resources will help you, your special someone, wedding party, family and guests get through the day without seeing a “these aren’t the table linens I ordered!!” meltdown.

To get the perfect table arrangements take a peak at Little Vintage Rentals. If you’re trying to achieve that whimsical wedding look, this may be the place for you. Mismatched china and glassware would be the perfect fit for an outdoor wedding that knows how to bring the charm. An added bonus? If you have a vision, they’ll do their best at finding those vintage pieces you’re looking for!

Picking the perfect bouquet and floral arrangements is a big task. The solution? Choose a florist that you can trust and who understands what you’re looking for. Gardenia Organic has been in business since 2007 and was New York’s first sustainable florist that sources their flowers either locally or from those that are practicing sustainable practices.

Ok, so picking the perfect baker of your wedding cake is going to take a lot of tasting (we’re not complaining), but based off of the reviews and visually appealing masterpiece we’re seeing at Cake Power, we’re pretty confident that these cakes will blow your newly married minds!

There are an abundant amount of different rental companies, but we’ve taken quite a liking to New England Country Rentals and some of their cool perks. You can rent a mobile kitchen from them and this awesome keg wall to keep your guests thirsts quenched!

We love supporting local artists—whether they’re crafters, musicians or floral designers! Check out Krissy Price of Pollen Floral Design and you’ll immediately be sold on her skill. Why have an ordinary bouquet when you can have one of these bad boys?

Your guest want cake you say? Well give the people what they want! Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop will leave everyone with a full tummy and a smile on their face. Whether you want a traditional wedding cake or a cake in the shape of your beloved pet—these bakers will hook you up with what you want.

Ok, one of the best parts of being at a wedding is the open bar, right? These rentable bars are pretty cool and I know I would saddle up there quite a bit (mainly so I can hydrate after so much shoeless dancing). Mobile Event Bars will get your party started in the best way possible. Cheers!

So you’ve got the awesome bar, now the flowers. Little Acre Flowers is 100% local and proudly support socially conscious farming. Besides their fantastic mission, they also put together some of the most aesthetically pleasing floral arrangement that I’ve seen.

This may be the obvious choice, but if you’re in DC then you got to represent Georgetown Cupcakes! These cupcakes are no joke, and are no doubt a crowd pleaser. If you aren’t necessarily a cake fan, but still want to have something sweet for your guests, individual cupcakes or a cupcake tower is a cute and festive alternative!

On the West Coast but looking for that vintage charm? The Vintage Table Company has got you covered! Choose from vintage, rustic, retro or classic tableware to add some personality to your tables. Why use standard plates when you can have something so much more Instagramable!

Maybe I’m biased because I love getting and sending flowers from The Bouqs, but besides standard flower delivery service they also can cater to your wedding desires. Pick out your favorite flower types and have them arranged into simple arrangements. These fresh flowers will hold up all day so you won’t be left with any sad, droopy looking vases.

Oh, it’s time to cut the cake you say? Putting a knife through one of these intricately designed numbers would be hard to do! If the cakes at Superfine Bakery are as tasty as they look, then you’re in luck. I was sold once I saw handmade sugar succulent cake toppers.

Talking about wedding linens maybe isn’t the most exciting thing, but it’s a way easier task when you’ve got options like these! Napa Valley Linens has so many different options that it’s slightly overwhelming (in a good way!) The wedding dress is important, but make sure those tables look good too!

Bouquets? Corsages? Center pieces? Garland? Farm Girl Flowers has all the options and you won’t be disappointed. These florists use what’s in season in your local area during the time of the big day! Your arrangements will be unique and as fresh as they can be, and of course locally sourced and environmentally friendly!

Have you been dreaming of the perfect wedding cake since you were a little kid? Well, A Spoonful of Sugar Cakes will fulfill all of your childhood dreams. A traditional cake with a modern touch will look perfect as you’re shoving it into your significant others mouth!

Nimble Well has everything you need for your celebration. From vases to candlesticks and cake stands, you can choose to customize your whole look with the help of this fine rental service. You can keep your look basic or branch out and try something a little more showy, but either way you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for!

Looking for some show stopping flowers? Then you should check out Nancy Krause Floral Design and Garden Antiques. These arrangements definitely bring the drama! A combination of dark flowers and succulents for your bouquet? Not the traditional look, but something that’s definitely working for me!

Last but not least the cake! The reviews for Amy Beck Cake Design say it all. After looking at the flavor menu I’m really hoping I get hitched soon so I can do a few wedding cake taste tests. The dress? I don’t care. Building the cake of my dreams to send my tastebuds through the roof? Now we’re talking.

What about you? Any unique plans for your special day? Let us know!

i would be great to hear about what you found for Dallas/Fort Worth ;) In the DFW Metroplex we have many Antique Malls. Many Brides come to the Mid-Citites Antique Mall, where I have a boutique booth, to find signature pieces and vintage items for decor for their wedding. There are a plethora of price points, and often many of the booths have great sales and deals.

A few weeks ago I was rearranging my booth, when a customer who was a bride to be came in with her husband to be to just look at ideas for their upcoming wedding. I had about 30 Antique European Beer Bottles that I was moving from one section to the next when they said they were looking for some antique bear bottles for decor at their wedding!

I told them if the Bought them all I would get them a great deal. They discussed it and bought them all for a steal. Many Antique Mall Dealers are willing to negotiate on prices, especially if they are buying large quantities or if its is inventory they have had for a while.
