Krrb Presents Quick Tips — How-to Photograph a Soft Item for Sale

Krrb member Amber Marlow is a professional photographer based in Brooklyn. She gave Krrb a few tips on photographing listings. When selling an item online, a great photograph can do most of the selling for you. First up in Amber’s 3-part tutorials is photographing a item without structure like a shirt, blanket or curtains. Start with good lighting so you’re able to capture details that make your listing one of a kind. Get a few shots that focus on special features of your item. Be sure to capture the scale of your item. Have a friend hold it so the buyer can see the true size in relation to a person.
