Planning on a picnic this summer? These simple tips will keep your food fresh and chilled. The best way to pack a picnic basket is to work your way out of the basket. Start with the item you’ll need last — a trash bag at the bottom of the basket. Then add frozen drinks or grapes and layer your food and dishes inside. Keep your meal insulated by topping it all with a vintage tablecloth and maybe even a bouquet of fresh flowers. Plop the buds in a jar with some water and use as an easy centerpiece when you’re enjoying your outdoor summer meal.
