This weekend as part of Northside Festival, Brooklyn neighborhood Williamsburg is bringing the community out to the streets for Williamsburg Walks. On June 11th and 12th, Williamsburg’s main drag Bedford Avenue will transform into a public park, stretching from Metropolitan Avenue to N. 12th Street. Instead of cars, these city blocks will be filled with artwork, pop-up green spaces and neighborhood activities. Krrb is joining in the fun with a book swap geared to children!
Kids are invited to bring gently used books and educational toys for swapping! This event is for children ages 4-10. Trade outgrown books and educational toys (such as card games, electronic and the like) with neighbors. For kids who often outgrow and tire of their books and toys quickly, trading is a great way to update their belongings on a budget.
See you at Northside Festival’s Williamsburg Walks on Sunday, June 12 from noon to 6pm. Krrb will be located on Bedford Avenue between N.4th-N.5th, closer to N.5th. See more details on the Facebook event.
