I Want This — Large Colonial Home in Florida, New York

Isn't she lovely?

Isn't she lovely?

I’ve fallen deeply, madly in love with a grand home in upstate New York. While I’m not ready to become a homeowner and spend my weekends at the hardware store, I can’t help but dream of this beautiful colonial house with four bedrooms, four baths, attic, basement and outdoor deck. Did I mention the screened-in gazebo for dining al fresco in the summer or the wood-burning fireplace to cozy up to in the winter?

If you’re crushing as hard as I am, check out this colonial home ($399,998) from Lily’s corner in Florida, New York. If this is too far from New York City, check out a studio loft (complete with fireplace) right in the middle of the city.

What an absolutely beautiful home. I had no idea there was a town in New York named Florida. It sounds like a great way to confuse people. You certainly get a lot for your money in this area of the state. I am wondering if it is located anywhere near the Hudson Valley or if it is further north near Lake George.
