If you haven’t noticed the pair of English Cloverleaf Ironstone Bowls or the rare vintage Labware Bowl, finds by Totally Super Deluxe’s Jocelyn Joson, you’ll soon find out there is more than meets the eye!
Read on to see why these ironstone earthenware and pottery bowls are so special!
Ironstone earthenware made its way onto the pottery scene in the early 1800s as a stronger substitute for porcelain. They have long since been collected due to their attractive simplicity and durability. The distinct ribbed texture became popular in the mid to late 19th century and remains an iconic feature today.
These beautiful ironstone bowls are a creamy white color and are heavy in hand. They make a practical, but gorgeous addition to any kitchen.
