I have to admit, I’m a bit routine when it comes to the seasons. In the spring and summer, I like to have full pitcher of hibiscus tea in the fridge. I mix it with fizzy water and cut up fruit for an alcohol-free sangria that’s refreshing. In the fall and winter, I crave something more spicy that warms the insides. We usually have a gallon or two of apple cider in the fridge so I like to bring it up a notch with chai spices. The easiest way to do this is to steep a chai teabag in some hot apple cider but when I’m not rushed for time, I mix the spices and top it off with fresh whipped cream. Use this Kitchn recipe to prepare “Chaider” and keep it hot in a cool retro thermal carafe.
If you’re not done gift shopping for everyone on your list, this thermos is a great item to give a coffee or tea lover in the family. It’s a practical item but the retro design is fun and makes it something special to find under the Christmas tree. And be sure to check out Krrb seller Delia, who has more bold and colorful gifts listed in her corner.
