Eco-friendly salvage yard Build It Green! NYC and Krrb teamed up this past weekend for the MAKESHIFT Chair Workshop in Gowanus. Crafty attendees had the chance to deconstruct and repurpose old chairs using fabric, paint, wood, metal, flowers and gloss. With the creative guidance of designer Natalie Chanin of Alabama Chanin and Amy Devers from A&E’s “Fix This Yard”, crafters turn their ideas into action. All photos by Peter Stanglmayr.
