Treasure of Europe

Vintage shopping through Europe is every scavenger’s dream. Treasures of Europe Tours is offering Krrb members a guided, off-the-beaten-path tour through barns, factories and mom-and-pop shops at a discounted rate.

From now through Thursday, September 5, Krrb members get $300 off the tour package. Spots in this intimate group trip are limited so you better act fast!

The state-side touring company hits Eastern Europe for nine days of scavenging—lead by expert guide Tom Conrad—from September 25 through October 4, starting in Germany and ending in Austria.

Treasures of Europe is registered with the European Union customs and will arrange shipping for shoppers ranging from small boxes to pallet shipping to mixed container shipping, as large as 40-foot containers. Attendees of the tour range from hobbyists shopping to furnish their homes to business owners sourcing inventory.

Hi Vanessa, We attended a Boy Choir concert in the former Eastern Germany (there was a modest entrance fee which we paid individually – but it was a wonderful experience), we also had a private bratwurst tasting that was fabulous in a lovely dining hall (one of the award winning bratwursts had chili and chocolate in it) and a totally unplanned excursion to an apple orchard and barn that advertised apple juice and brandy. Don’t ask me where these were, because I couldn’t begin to tell you.

    Wonderful surprises. You should go!

What kind of excursions? We’d love to hear more.

My husband and I traveled with Tom Conrad to Germany, Bevaria and Czechoslovakia last year. He had several excursions that were not even on his itinerary for people who enjoy “off the beaten track” adventures. Tom is fluent in several languages and is a fabulous host. I would highly reccomend Treasures of Europe for antique lovers and browsers.
