Double Take – Buy My Bed, A Song By Jonathan Mann

Every now and then we come across a listing that makes us looking twice. Welcome to “Double Take” — where we unearthed all those unusual listings so good we just have to share.

The “song-a-day” guy, Jonathan Mann, made famous by Steve Jobs during Apple’s Antennagate scandal is selling his bed on the Krrb Classifieds.

According to our sources (the song itself), Mr. Mann needs to get rid of his Queen sized bed by Tuesday, June 11, in order to make room for his girlfriend’s smaller bed when she moves in next week. A pragmatic decision given the size of his bedroom.

This Ikea Brimnes bed frame (with four drawers) comes with a spring mattress, a combo only a year old. Although buyer beware, one of the drawers has a “wonky bottom.” After the bedbug scare in New York City the last few years, Jonathan soothes concerns (in a three-part harmony) with the fact that he’s never had bedbugs in his entire 31 years of existence.

If you live in the area and need a perfectly good place to lay your head, then buy his bed on Krrb.

Ok, so this has got to be the most creative ad I’ve seen on here. I hope he gets to sell his bed after putting all this effort in making a video. And oh my, the size of that bedroom. What we do to live in NYC!
