This set of vintage glasses and a brass cocktail shaker have gold banded detailing.
As part of the series called The Hot Corner, we’re featuring Krrb corners that catch our eye with their well-curated inventory. Whether it’s upcycled, secondhand, vintage or handmade, be sure to see for yourself why we think these Krrbsters have it going on.
After years of filling her home with vintage home goods, Elizabeth Aleckson launched her Minneapolis-based shop, Expo Facto. It was a natural move for this shopping addict with a career in merchandising. Nowadays, she keeps busy perusing auctions, antique shops and flea markets for beautiful finds to stock her business. Items like her gold rimmed agate coasters, antelope mounts and antlers make Expo Facto a hot corner among Krrb’s buyers. Read on to learn more about Elizabeth and this midwestern local business.

Vintage Kantha throws are made from saris in India.
Elizabeth originally stumbled upon the site while searching for some Milo Baughman chairs for a client. She found the most gorgeous set on Krrb but they had just been sold. From that point she was hooked, exploring different neighborhoods and actively selling as well.

From the 1970s, this brass propeller would look stunning on a mantel.
While the Minneapolis location on Krrb is still growing, Elizabeth is considering a Krrb-lead road trip soon to finally land some of the one-of-a-kind listings she’s been eyeing. You don’t have to go far to get one of Elizabeth’s curated finds. Expo Facto offers shipping and in-person pickup. For the latest on her shopping, also follow Elizabeth on Twitter.
