Ohh, Paris. The romance, the wine, the cheese! Then there’s the marches. Yes! The marches. Those in need can pick up anything and everything from hardware to slippers to vintage clothes from one of their hundreds of diverse markets that dot the city.
The secondhand economy is thriving in the City of Light replete with a beautiful, subtle nod to conscious consumption. Car sharing, bike sharing, and sharing of any and all kinds also has a permanent home here. And of course, there is vintage to drool over. From shops to individual sellers, Paris will never let you forget that it’s the fashion capital of the world.
So what do you get when you cross local markets, secondhand shopping, and sharing out the wazoo, with vintage galore? Why, you get Krrb, of course! Since Krrb was born, the city by the Seine gave it love, in part because Krrb is half French, but also because Paris is so firmly rooted in localism, something that courses through our veins.
After a bit of a cultural exchange between our New York and Paris offices this summer we thought it only right to pay homage to the city that inspired so much of this thing we call Krrb. Keep an eye out these next two weeks for a truly Krrb tribute to one of the most beautiful cities on earth. Because like Thomas Jefferson, we believe that “A walk about Paris will provide lessons in history, beauty, and in the point of Life.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Obviously!
