Jessica Blackman, Krrb’s Community Manager gives us the lowdown on making no-bake energy bars. These healthy snacks are not only friendly on the waistline, they’re also light on the wallet. Jessica suggests buying a variety of oats, nuts, berries and seeds in bulk, a more cost efficient option than energy bars at $5 a pop. Remember to play around with the recipe to your taste, making sure you have enough wet ingredients like honey, chocolate hazelnut spread and nut butter to bind your dry ingredients like energy boosters chia seeds, flax seeds and blueberries.
