Spend your weekend scouring for finds at flea markets. Photo: Homestilo.com
The dog days of summer may be over but it’s not time to head inside. We’ve got three outdoor markets you’ll want to explore this Saturday and Sunday. Chocked full of vintage and handmade goods, we think these markets are a perfect way to wile away an afternoon. Check out why we’ve got market fever.

Don’t wait to make your way over to the Treasure Island Flea! The monthly event is held on the beautiful Treasure Island off the coast of San Francisco. This weekend take part in a DIY scrapbook workshop with Tami Jo Benson and pick up antiques, vintage fashion and handcrafted goods in between bites of local artisanal food. Check out a few items we have our eye on. We’ll be picking up cuddly toys from One Hot Tomatoe’s Krrb corner for the tykes in our life. August is around the corner but we’d like to stock up on the luxurious autumn scarves at Lix Perle’s Krrb corner. The Apron Guy’s Krrb corner has a few retro styles that are sure to inspire us in the kitchen.
Randolph Street Market in Chicago, Illinois

Randolph Street Market is going strong through the summer with aisles and aisles of hand crafted, secondhand and vintage clothes, decor, and furniture. You can find just about anything at this outdoor (and indoor) market. We’re loving the statement jewelry on Sandpiper Import’s Krrb corner and the delicate charms found on Adorn 512′s Krrb corner. For the home, let’s redecorate with vintage posters from Chicago Center’s Krrb corner and industrial tables from Don and Marta Orwig’s Krrb corner.
