Join Etsy artist Jessica Marquez at the Brooklyn Museum on Saturday afternoon to create your own pieces of art. Using thread, text and images, this workshop gives visitors a chance to make their own masterpieces. There is a $15 materials fee and participants can bring their own images or create something new. To secure a spot, visit the Brooklyn Museum at 200 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. (Ed. More than 50 antique dealers are setting up camp this weekend in South Florida. The annual Fort Lauderdale Antiques Faire is in town both Saturday and Sunday with everything from vintage costume jewelry to high-end antique furniture. If you’re in the mood to scavenge, stop by the Fort Lauderdale Antiques Faire at the War Memorial Auditorium, 800 NE 8th Street in Fort Lauderdale.
