Krrb Presents Quick Tips — How To Make Chili Infused Oil

We know you have no time for long-winded how-to’s, so we’ll keep it short. In under a minute, Quick Tips are here to help you with life’s little lessons. So unless you get caught up watching hundreds in a row, which – warning – you just might, you can quickly get back to monitoring your news feeds or whatever you were doing. Check out the full video series here.

Tickets for the Food and Kitchen Swap are now available on Eventbrite. The Brooklyn based event brings local foodies together to trade homemade, edible treats and non-edible kitchen items with your neighbors. To get your mouth watering and inspire you to make some delicious goods to swap, Jane Lerner, of BK Swappers gives us a quick tutorial on making a spiced oil. Jane runs the larder swap and social gathering in Brooklyn. Today she creates an infused oil using peanut oil and a mix of spices including: Thai peppers, whole cloves, star anise, Szechuan peppercorns, cardamom pods, mustard seeds, and cinnamon sticks…sounds good! The spiced oil can be used in stir fry, salad dressings or as a finishing oil on raw veggies and rice. Preview what’s available at the swap on Krrb.
