With a coat of green paint and cleaned up brass feet, this table brings new energy into any room.
As part of the series called The Hot Corner, we’ll be featuring Krrb corners that catch our eye with their well-curated inventory. Whether it’s upcycled, secondhand, vintage or handmade, be sure to see for yourself why we think these Krrbsters have it going on.
Nora Matthes-Kniveton is one busy lady. The mother of 3 grown children is constantly on the hunt for one of a kind pieces in the Bay Area. While we’re a bit jealous of the wealth of thrift stores, estate sales and yard sales in Nora’s neighborhood, we’re reaping the benefits of her refurbishing skills. Nora ran an antique shop for years, but now sells at markets like Treasure Island Flea (get a peek at some of the goods — more to come!) and online. Be sure to visit Nora’s selection of spruced up furniture and vintage fashion at her Hot Corner.

Orange you glad this Art Deco buffet is still up for grabs?
Whether it’s a booth at the monthly Treasure Island Flea, San Francisco Indie Mart, or the Sacramento Antique Faire, expect to find Nora showing off her latest finds.

Nora may call herself the Furniture Whisperer but she's also got an eye for vintage fashion.
With so many pieces coming and go, it’s best to visit Nora’s Krrb corner often. If you want to keep track of her next market day, check out her Facebook for the latest news.
