When it comes to selling, it’s all about the pitch. Of course, it gets a little tricky when it comes to selling old items when their history is, well, a mystery. Labels can vary (inaccurately at times) from antique to vintage to retro to secondhand — depending on the seller. But variety is the spice of life!
So, we took to the Williamsburg waterfront location of the Brooklyn Flea to hear what vendors had to say about the same rusty tin dish. While most were confident about the vocabulary they would use, there was some uncertainty. To see what Brooklyn Flea vendors had to say, watch the video.
