I Want This – John Stuart Danish Mod Daybed

I Want This – John Stuart Danish Mod Daybed

Although a beautiful shot, we fully expect you to keep this couch indoors.

My hand-me-down, slipcovered, Ikea loveseat has seen better days. The white cover I insisted on is now grey and mottled. The cushions are sagging and frankly, it’s just not fashionable. Gone are the days of college-style living and my living room requires something well, more adult.

The sophisticated lines of the Danish Mod Daybed ($1,500) pairs well with my mid-century chairs — a recent find. Designed by Peter Hvidt for John Stuart, this 1950’s daybed is made in Denmark. I can already picture this European teak beauty in my living room working everything from cocktail parties to Sunday afternoon movie marathons.

Want to put your feet up on something with style, pick up this Danish Mod Daybed on Marzipan Mummy’s Krrb corner in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

Out with the old, in with the new (to you) is a good philosophy to work with…this thing is making me seriously consider it…
