Drinks, food, and fun at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar! Photo: Inhabitat.com
At five o’clock Thursday, the Brooklyn Night Bazaar will throw its doors wide open. Featuring over a hundred local vendors selling everything from sunglasses to produce, live music, and a liberal serving of libations this is one three-day shopping extravaganza not to be missed. Located in Williamsburg at 149 Kent Avenue the amazing shopping party doesn’t stop ’til one in the morning each night with the last hurrah on Saturday.
So, instead of scrambling to get your last minute shopping done this weekend when stores will be swarming with tense, panicky procrastinators with that very scary, crazed look in their eyes, venture to the Night Bazaar where there will be drinks waiting and lots of vendors anxious to allay your gift-finding fears.

When you get there hit up the food stands first—you’ll need energy for the night of shopping ahead. Check out the Snap Food Truck and Bon Chovie then wash it all down with some lemonade from Lizzmonade.
After fueling up it’s game time. Gifts won’t be hard to come by as there are an array of shops that will satisfy everyone on your holiday list. For your excitable little sister who’s really into fashion, grab her a necklace from Wink and Flip; your mother-in-law who drinks coffee like water will enjoy a mug from Mugs for Mothers; while your indecisive sister-in-law will appreciate a really cool temporary tattoo from The Temporary Tattoo Project.
Be sure to save a little cash because after your shopping is done you’ll want to visit (at least) a few of the local breweries and/or wineries and get ready to settle in for some amazing music.

Bear witness to some seriously incredible talent throughout the entire weekend beginning Thursday night with a DJ set by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem; Friday’s featured performer is F*cked Up; and wrapping it up Saturday evening is The Hold Steady.
So get on it and get your shopping done and not even notice because of all the fun you’re having.
Remember, doors open at five o’clock and it’s completely free, except for the performances. The prices for those can be found on Ticketfly.
Happy Shopping!
