Looking for a band of like-minded parents in DUMBO? Check out the DUMBO Parents Organization; families with children of all ages and parents living or working in DUMBO. They act as a recourse for everything from references on doctors and parenting advice, to the exchange of secondhand goods. The group is close-knit so only parents in DUMBO are admitted.

Since DUMBO is one of New York City’s most creative and fastest growing neighborhoods, in addition to being one of the most gorgeous, it’s obvious that the DUMBO Improvement District is doing their job well. In addition to organizing these super sales, they also partner with property owners, merchants, businesses and cultural organizations to provide advocacy, beautification and programming.
