Thanks to all the wonderful people who came to the Brooklyn and Paris Krrb Meetups with interest, questions and stories about how they have come to use Krrb. With a packed house, armed with cheese, bread, beers and wine, the mood was fun, friendly and casual with a mixed bag of independent business owners, techies, non-techies, interested locals and press
The mingling and networking turned to a discussion, lead by Krrb founder, George Eid, on the backstory of Krrb and the space we aim to fill, our challenges and our ambitions of world domination, er … ahem.
Future Meetups will take a different form and act as a chance to get together with your neighbors for a swap of any kind, neighborhood sale or simply a place to meet other Krrb members.
We want to give a special shout to those that are taking the notion of secondhand, swapping, trading, giving, buying and selling locally and all things we endorse at Krrb, into their own hands with Krrb Meetup Everywhere.
Since opening up the possibilities for people around the world to host their own Krrb Meetups with people near them, we’ve had 40 members in 5 cities join. It’s pioneers like Pandora in Portland, Emily in Oakland and Alexandre in Montpellier that have embraced the idea of living locally by launching groups of their own. Thank you! Now we just need you to join them!
