Social media is a great source for finding visual stimulation from others, but is your feed feeling a bit stale lately? The summer is a great time to update who you follow. I’ve gone ahead and put together a list of some of my personal favorite Instagram accounts to add to your scrolling routine. Check them out and update your feed with some new creative inspiration!
Michelle Solobay of @michellesolobay is killing the design game over in Washington, D.C. Her style of incorporating darker pieces into bright white rooms is interior perfection.
Casey Lea Stephenson of @caseypins is a Florida-based stylist who can turn any event or set into something truly beautiful. Be forewarned: the beachy lifestyle documented in her feed will result in some major coastal envy.
The Chicago lifestyle collective @foxtailsandmoss supports local creative communities and shares their projects and gatherings via social media. Indulge in their bohemian vibes and mimic their style with trendy accents for a relaxed look!
Jess and Matt Craven of @cravenhomestead are a dynamic duo made up of a photographer and an engineer. Their minimalist photos will inspire you to shed some unneeded items in your space to give it a more clean feel.
Emily Katz of @emily_katz makes some seriously awesome macrame weavings in Portland, Oregon. Since she is an artist, you can only imagine her taste is always aesthetically on point.
Colleen Ludovice of @inspiredtoshare may be a wife, a dreamer and a dog mom—but she also has some serious style. Her feed includes peeks inside her home and the traditional elements that make it cozy!
Lifestyle blogger Evelyn Roxana of @mermaidwishing often shares interior shots of some of my favorite types of homes. Striking elements like dark wood floors, white walls and minimal furniture—it’s almost impossible not to feel her influence.
Dylan Slade of @sladeways blogs alongside Scarlet Rose and shares some of the beautiful images on his personal Instagram account. His love of greenery, evident in his photography, will have you collecting loads of houseplants.
Ariele Alasko of @arielealasko makes intricate pieces out of wood. Photos of her woodwork home goods and sculptures will have you double tapping your phone and most likely purchasing a piece by Ariele for your own collection!
The pictures you’ll see from Nam of @mell0wfell0w span the world. Whether you’re looking at interiors in Brooklyn or Paris- they are all gorgeously showcased. Don’t blame us if you get a case of wanderlust.
Justin Chung of @justinchung is a photographer that documents moments with simplicity that truly let the subjects of his photos speak for themselves. There’s a range of depth in his work, but I’m truly blown away by his interior shots.
Kelly Vittengl of @francesloom is a self-proclaimed “rug slinger” based in Los Angeles. She curates gorgeous collections of antique rugs, follow her feed for a fix of vintage textiles.
Polina of @po.lin.a is a graphic web designer who certainly has an eye for design. The composition of her photos accentuates details of items that not everybody may be drawn to on their own.
Lynn Kostelny of @lynnkostelny lives in Philadelphia and showcases lush interiors that make us want to add a plant or two (or three or four) to any empty corner. The unique types of plants and arrangements has me planning my next green thumb project!
Fawn DeViney of @sfawnd is a photographer who splits her time between Boston and Phoenix doing what she does best. She’s inspired by both neutral palettes and striking elements, which is what helps make her pictures so breathtaking. Are you going to want to paint all of your walls stark white after looking? Definitely.
